Sumerpur, 3 June 2026: A good news has emerged for the youth of Rajasthan. The state government has taken a big step towards promoting technical education in Sumerpur area. It was announced by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to open a new ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Sumerpur in the budget year 2025-26. Now implementing this announcement, the Department of Skills, Planning and Entrepreneurship has issued administrative and financial approval of Rs 8.5 crore for the construction of ITI building.
There is an atmosphere of happiness in the area after this important acceptance. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, local MLA and Animal Husbandry and Cow Husbandry Minister Zoraram Kumawat said that this project will bring new opportunities for the youth of Sumerpur and surrounding areas.
Minister Kumawat said that at present many students have to go to other cities to get technical education. After the opening of the new ITI, local youth will be able to get quality technical training in their own area. This will save both time and expense and will also provide better employment opportunities.
The proposed ITI building will be equipped with modern facilities. State-of-the-art workshops, practical labs, digital classrooms and computer centers will be established in the campus. Necessary machines and modern equipment will also be made available for training of various technical trades, so that the students can get training as per the needs of the industries.
He said that the state government is continuously making efforts to make the youth self-reliant by providing them skill-based education. Special attention is being paid to completing the announcements made in the budget in a time bound manner. In this sequence, the construction work of Sumerpur ITI building will also be started soon.
With the opening of the new ITI, students of dozens of nearby villages including Sumerpur will get direct benefits. Availability of technical education at the local level will open new avenues of employment and self-employment for the youth. After this announcement, enthusiasm is being seen among the youth and parents of the area and people are considering it as an important step towards the development of the area.
