DRDO Scientist Recruitment 2026: There is good news for the youth of engineering and technical field preparing for government jobs. Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC) under Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Scientist C, Scientist D and Scientist E. The online application process for recruitment has started and interested candidates can apply till 19 June 2026.
Candidates have to apply through online mode only. The application form can be filled through the official website of RAC.
Recruitment will be done on so many posts
A total of 33 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Post wise vacancy details are given below.
- Scientist E – 2 posts
- Scientist D – 11 posts
- Scientist C – 20 posts
Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work in various research and defense projects of DRDO.
Educational qualification
Candidates applying must have a first class degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university. Apart from this, it is also mandatory to have the necessary experience as per the concerned post.

The maximum age of the candidates to apply for recruitment has been determined according to the post.
- Maximum age for Scientist C post is 35 years
- Maximum age for Scientist D post is 45 years
- Age limit for other posts will be applicable as per notification
