The government led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has given permission to start the transfer process from June 19 to July 5, 2026. This decision is expected to benefit thousands of employees and officers across the state.
Transfers will take place from June 19 to July 5.

Public representatives said that due to non-payment of transfers for a long time, work in many departments is being affected and employees are facing personal and family problems.
Apart from this, many ministers had also demanded removal of transfer ban in cabinet meetings.
Steps towards administrative reforms and increasing efficiency
The government has taken this decision after taking feedback from various departments and after detailed review. It is believed that this will balance the vacant posts in the departments, increase administrative efficiency and resolve the long pending demands of the employees.
Now till July 5, 2026, the process of transfers is likely to remain fast across the state and transfer related activities will increase in various departments.
